Torres Novas - Portugal
Torres Novas is a Portuguese city belonging to the District of Santarém, Central region and subregion of the Middle Tagus, with about 12,156 inhabitants. [1] The city of Torres Novas covers five parishes (Salvador, Santa Maria, Santiago, San Pedro and Lapas more recently). Still belonged to the old province of Ribatejo, but without any meaning today of administrative policy.
It is the seat of a municipality with 269.50 km2 and 36,908 inhabitants (2001), subdivided into 17 parishes. The municipality is bordered in the northwest by the municipality of Ourém in the east by Tomar, Vila Nova da Barquinha Junction and the Southeast by Golegã, south and west of Santarem by Alcanena.

Porto (also Oporto; Portugal) is a city in northern Portugal and is the second largest city in Portugal, with a 2005 estimated population of 238,465 in the 15 parishes of Porto municipality, 1.6 million in the 14 Greater Metropolitan Area of Porto municipalities, which is an administrative and political entity, and 2.99 million people in the broader agglomeration of Porto Metropolitan Region.
Due to its economic output and market size, Greater Porto area is one of the major financial and economic centers of the northwestern quarter of the Iberian Peninsula. Porto's municipality is the core of a large northern Atlantic conurbation, and Porto district is one of the most industrialized districts of Portugal.
One of Portugal's most internationally famous products, Port wine, was named after the city because it was originally shipped from the area or, more precisely, from Vila Nova de Gaia, a city just across the river which belongs to the same conurbation. The country was also named after the Latin name of this city, Portus Cale (English: Port of Gaia).

Praça do Marquês de Pombal
The Marques de Pombal square is located between the Avenida da Liberdade and Eduardo VII Park. In the center stands a magnificent monument in honor of the Marquis of Pombal, the man who was ahead of reconstruction of Lisbon after the earthquake of 1758. This monument can be seen in the top marques, with his hand in a lion (symbol of power), to look at his masterpiece: the downtown Lisbon.
Elevador de Santa Justa
The Santa Justa Elevator lift also known as Caramel is one of the most interesting monuments of downtown Lisbon. Its construction will have begun in 1898 and was completed in 1901.
Made of iron and decorated with tracery. The top of the tower, which is reached by a narrow spiral staircase, is occupied by a cafe with splendid views of the brow, downtown Lisbon, the castle of St. George on the hill opposite the river and the ruins of the church Carmelite convent.

The pattern of findings was inaugurated in 1960 during celebrations of the five hundredth anniversary of the death of the infant d.henrique "browser." evokes the maritime expansion and is designed in the shape of a caravel. Seen from the huge sea-card, this monument fascinates impressiveness and its 50 meters high and is visited by thousands of people every year.

Torre de Belém
It is located on the right bank of the Tejo river. The monument stands out by nationalism patent, since it is surrounded by decorations of the coat of arms of Portugal. These characteristics refer mainly to architecture a time when the country was a global power. Its foundation stone dated 1502, although the social structure were to be initiated in 1514. The construction of the monument was completed in 1520. It is considered a world heritage site by UNESCO since 1983 and 7 July 2007 was elected as one of the seven wonders of Portugal.
